"I'll be a horse," Dan said.
"You're kidding me," Kat replied.
"No seriously. Go ahead turn me into a horse!" Dan said.
"Well, the lack of originality doesn’t surprise me. Whatever Dan, I hope you like oats and hay because that's all you'll be eating from now on!"
Dan shook his head. Kat really believed that she could turn him into an animal. He was ready to laugh at her foolishness and arrogance.
Kat's wand glowed and Dan felt a sudden sharp pain in his stomach. Both Dan and Kat were about to learn lessons. Dan would soon learn the value of never underestimating anyone. Kat would learn why one should never abuse their power.
Clutching his stomach, Dan cringed. "What did you do? Did you poison me or something?" he asked.
"No, I gave you exactly what you ask for," Kat said.
Dan looked at his arms and saw brown hairs growing everywhere. His hands were becoming numb and inflexible. "No!" Dan yelled.
"Don't you mean, neigh?" Kat laughed.
Dan grabbed at Kat's shirt only for his grip to loosen as all but his middle fingers retreated into his hands.
"Please, stop this!" Dan cried.
Dan’s arms quivered as thick nails grew around his fattening middle fingers. His hands were becoming hooves and there seemed nothing he could do about it. His arms were now almost covered in brown fur.
Kat noted the change in Dan’s voice. “You sound a little hoarse Dan. I wonder why?”
“I don’t want this!” Dan cried as he looked at his arms, which were now the forelegs of a horse.
"Why? You'll make a fine stallion. Think of it Dan, no school or work. Sure you'll smell a little, (not that that's any different from now). You'll also be strong and virile.”
Dan felt a surge of excitment at Kat’s last statement. He tried to push it out but the thoughts of the beast he was becoming were already making themselves at home in his mind.
Kat smiled and cast another spell, making Dan’s clothes vanish.
“There, that’ll make things easier for you. I’d prefer not to see you naked but a naked horse is hardly a problem. We’ll solve that one soon enough won’t we Dan?” Kat said.
Dan self a surge of pain all over his chest as well as a prickling above his rear end. His chest was starting to barrel out and his muscles were developing. Brown hair was sprouting all over his torso. Dan could feel his tail growing as well as the itch of his growing mane.
Kat took several steps back and grinned. “Coming along well Dan.”
“Please Kat, stop this. I’ll do anything!” Dan pleaded.
Dan’s mind however, was saying different. The thoughts and desires of the stallion were screaming at him, telling him that refusing this gift would be an insult. Being human would mean giving up on much more enjoyable desires. Dan felt something between his legs getting heavier. It wasn’t his growing tail. There was only one thing it could be.
Seconds before Dan’s expanding chest forced him onto all fours he’d looked down at what was anything but human equipment.
“That’s right Dan, let it take you. I’ve always wanted a horsie, now you can be him. Why worry of decency? Now you can be yourself!” Kat laughed.
Dan felt his feet starting the process of changing into hooves as his legs became furred and his hips changed. At first, Dan thought the room was getting smaller. He didn’t need long to realise it was he that was growing. Sadly, this would be amoung the last of Dan's human thoughts.
Now Dan’s face began to hurt. What was among the last of his humanity was slipping away.
“I don’t want to be a horse! I’m a guy not some farm animal!” Dan protested.
Dan’s mind screamed at him otherwise. His strength was becoming apparent to him. With such a body there was little he could besides sleep, eat, carry heavy loads and do the one act that farm animals were best known for. While Dan tried to deny it, a part of him enjoyed the prospect of that. In fact, his smiled with thickening teeth. He enjoyed how strong he felt. He could lift and carry just about anything now.
“That’s it Dan, be the beast you are!” Kat said.
Dan didn’t respond. He couldn’t even if he wanted to, as by now, his face was that of a horse. Besides, Kat’s words meant little to him now.
His tail swishing, Dan was eager to try out his new body. A smaller force in him demanded he resist this. However desire was much more powerful now. Resisting his impulses was all but impossible; any human inhibition was gone.
With a flick of her wand, Kat sent Dan to a nearby farm, making sure that her magic also had anyone there fail to find the sudden appearance of a young stallion unusual. As far as they knew, Dan was a gift that someone had just delivered.
Kat heard her mother approach her room.
“What was all that noise?”
“Oh nothing, Dan was just horsing around,” Kat said with an evil grin indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
