nevermind the strange red glow that is important

You are standing in your kitchen for a few moments but decide that the strange red glow coming from the field is more important then the strangely rearranged furniture in the kitchen. So you unlock the backdoor and step outside on the yard the thing that is immediately clear that nothing makes a sound and for some reason you are not greeted by Ayla the watch dog. Not even a sound comes from either the cow shed or the barn. First things first you mumble to yourself and start to walk towards the strange red glow in the distance.

As you walk towards the strange glow you start to wonder about how the strange device ended up in your fields. You look around you, you notice that no sound comes from the area around you not even the song of a bird or some buzzing of the insects. Everything is completely silent and nothing stirs. The trees just wave due to the wind.

As you walk towards the field in which the strange red object you notice that the cows do not come towards you but all just gather around the crater caused by the impact of the object. "Get away ......Get away" you yell to the cows as you come closer. At first the cows just look stupid in your direction wondering what you a doing but then slowly walk away from the object and move towards the other side of the field and gather there again like the are having some sort of meeting.

"Stupid cows the only thing they do is eat grass, shit, piss and lay around for the rest of the day." you grumble. "Now lets have a look at this strange thing." you state to yourself. As you walk towards the strange object that is not bigger than a normal size football you feel the air vibrating like some sort of radiance comes of the object but the temperature has not changed.
