Medli flew around the outskirts of Dragon Roost Island. She had finished her duties for the day and was now free to do as she pleased. After being cooped up in the Earth Temple, praying to ensure that the Master Sword had the power to defeat Ganondorf, she now liked to spend as much time as she could outside. While flying close to the shore, she noticed something had washed up on the beach, and flew down to investigate.
It looked like a message in a bottle, but on closer inspection, there was no message inside. Instead, the bottle contained a strange-looking wand, kind of like the Wind Waker that Link used. She reached into the bottle to pull it out, but the second her fingers touched it, her mind was filled with the knowledge of what it was, and what it could do. A grin formed on her face as she pulled the wand out of the bottle, excited by the possibilities.
"Hm, this could be fun," she said to no one in particular, thinking about who to try it out on first.
