Waking Up

by: Scifiwizard Retired Author IconMail Icon
You woke up slowly, finding yourself in your bed with mom, dad, and Tonya looking over you. "I am so sorry we did not believe you at first, dear." seeing you looking at her, she said. "We ran a number of tests after you passed out, it proved your identity." pausing, she added, "You must understand, you didn't look like yourself."

"I know, some weird dust changed me." rubbing your eyes, you said. "I was hoping you would have the antidote to that freaky dust so I begged the family on the other side to send me back."

"Wait a minute!" slightly excited, dad said. "You made it to the other side!?" he smiled brightly. "What was it like? Who did you meet over there, how different were they to us?"

You began to tear up until mom slapped dad on the back of the head. "Eric has been though a rough experience, Max!" scolding, she said. "We can debrief him, err, her later."

"I'm sorry, Eric. I got ahead of myself." wincing, dad said. "Getting back to the issue at hand, I'm afraid that I never made any such dust that changes one's gender. Whatever happened to you did not come from this side."

"Then... Then what changed me?" panic in your voice, you asked. "Can you change me back into a boy?"

"Without understanding what had changed you, no." seriously, dad replied. "That dust sample you sent me is made up of elements that do not exist anywhere on this Earth." gulping, he added, "I'm afraid you are stuck as a girl for life."

Hearing that, you began to cry, moving mom to hug you. "Being a girl is not so bad." soothing you, she said. "That and you gained something in return for your loss of gender."

"What's that?" still crying, you asked.

Mom pulled the covers off of you, revealing that you were wearing one of Tonya's nightgowns. That alone made you blush but the fact it fit you almost perfectly made you pause as mom said, "You're not the size of a toddler anymore."

"This... This going to take some getting used to." blushing brightly, you said. "Nothing I have will fit me."

"Nothing you have was made for a teenage girl." smiling, mom said. "We'll need to take you shopping."

"That and I will want to run a few tests." looking at you, dad said. getting a cold glance form Tonya, he quickly added, "We just want to make certain he, or rather, she is in good health."

Mom and dad then began to talk to you, almost at once, telling you all they had planned for you when Tonya got up and walked out the door. You could not help notice she seemed to feel left out....

You have the following choices:

*Noteb*
1. You go after Tonya.

*Noteb*
2. You call her back.

3. You let her leave.

*Noteb* indicates the next chapter needs to be written.
