John had just finished school for the day and had come home for the evening. When he got to the house his parents were gone and he tossed his things into his room and went back to the living room to watch tv.
His folks both got home from work around 5:30 and set about making dinner. After dinner John went up to his room to do the little bit of home work he had. His mom, Jenny, came up to check on his progress and was bothered by how messy and sloppy his room was. Jenny said “John, once you’re done with your homework why don’t you tidy up your room, you have things everywhere.”
John responded by saying it wasn’t that bad. But that’s asnt enough for his mom and she told him “she wasn’t asking.” After that John just said “whatever mom.”
