Tried it out on some random object.

While she wondered where the toy may have come from, she didn't see any harm in playing with it.

She stood up and with her finger on the trigger trying to look like one of Charlie's Angels. She went through a couple of different poses while mugging into her full-length mirror. While not particularly vain, Ashley did have a somewhat kiddish love of making funny faces and play-acting in private.

Finally, she took aim at the mirror imagining herself to be a conquering heroine about to stop the bad guy (or girl as the case may be). She squeezed the trigger and much to her surprise a beam of light shot out of the barrel. Startled she dropped the gun and jumped to the side as the beam of light struck the mirror.
