Leaving his current victims as they were (as he always did), Max let a reasonably evil chuckle escape from his lips and then headed to his next engagement, at a theater in Phoenix, Arizona. He did have his fun transforming his victims, but he also refrained from staying in one spot for too long. He wasn't afraid of the authorities but neither did he want to be bothered by them.
Accompanied as always by his trusted 'accomplice' Anjeia, Max arrived at the Hastings Theater in the early evening. Setting up everything took a little longer than they thought it would, as a result...he was unable to open proceedings that night.
"This place might prove promising don't you think my dear?" Max addressed Anjeia.
"Yes sir" his assistant responded.
Max then smiled as he lit up a cigarette, then he seemed to study it for a moment before stumping it out. "Filthy habit!" he muttered, before looking around at the theater's decor. "Certainly not Las Vegas" he shrugged, "but I guarantee we'll get a few more products for the market" he added.
"We will sir" Anjeia smiled.
"Please, Anjeia, don't be so formal around me" Max pleaded with his amnesia-struck assistant.
"I'm sorry Max" she apologized, as she checked her appearance.
Max just threw her a gentle smile. "You look fine, as always!" he assured her. "Now...what do you say we see what the streets of this town have to offer us, me may get lucky" Max chuckled, as he took hold of Anjeia's hand.
