Who's going to throw a pie at you?

A passing Clown snatches the next pie from the carny's hands.

The Clown juggles the heavy pie briefly from hand to hand. Then he takes a good look at you, pulls his right arm and takes a spinning step forward. As he spins, he fails to release the pie and nearly smashes it into the carny's face. The carny is too quick for him though and ducks of the way, leaving the clown dizzy and stumbling with the pie still in hand.

You take this opportunity to grip the edge of the wall to pull yourself free. You slip out from underneath the tarp, dust off your clothes, and are about to walk away when you feel a tap on your shoulder.
