It took a moment for the Young Cub to find the Human but when he did he smiled in amazement. He reached down with one furry hand. Ash had to steel himself to keep from running away. Huge clawed fingers closed around him in a surprisingly gentle grip and carefully lifted him upward.
"Hi."
"Are you a Goblin?"
"N-No. I'm a human."
The cub's head tilted to the right. "Human? Funny, Emily's human and she's not tiny."
"It's a little hard to explain," said Ash. Knowing it would be even harder to explain to the cub how he already knew his name he decided to act like he did not. "What's you're name?"
"Little Bear. What's yours?"
"Ash. Um, Pardon me but it seems to me that you don't sound very old"
"I'm six years old"
Six. Only Six years old and already a giant. He wondered how much more of a giant were his parents.
"I'm really glad to meet you Little Bear, it's really scary being alone and this small. I could've been eaten by a bird or a spider."
"Do you have a place to stay?" Asked Little Bear.
"No, I have nowhere to go. No home to do to, no place to rest my head at night."
"I'll take you to my home you can live with me"
"Wait I--" Ash stopped. As much as this whole situation was freaking him out, the cub had a point. He looked into Little Bear's huge, dark, hopeful eyes "Alright, I'll stay with you. If it's okay with you're parents" he finally said. "You do have a mother and father?"
Little Bear smiled. Happy to have meet a new friend, even happier to have that friend staying with him. Ash felt himself rising upward as the cub stood up and stepped away from the rock. "Would you like to play a Game with me, or maybe you want to see my room."
