Adam struggled to breath, his lungs constricted, the very air and breathing was strange after the descent. Mind still sluggish, he got unsteadily to his feet. Taking a few tentative deep breaths, a number of things became obvious.
This was no longer his familiar body... nor was it even male. The sensation of stockings was impossible to ignore, nor was the corset holding her tight, nor the rise and fall of her bust, as she fought not to faint.
Adam looked around, taking in her surroundings. Outside the window, there were gas lamps, their light flickering. The streets were cobbled, and no sound of cars troubled the night. However, the traffic was still there. The sound of hooves clopping rhythmically on the stone, and the stench of horse shit hung heavily in the air.
