Alex was in between semesters at college and after his girlfriend dumped him needed something to occupy his mind. When his grandfather asked him to help clean out his attic he jumped at the opportunity to do something other than think about his situation. The work was more backbreaking than he first imagined, apparently his grandpa owned more heavy antique furniture than he remembered. After moving a box, full of what could only be bricks given the weight, he knocked over an old old Arabic oil lantern, the type you'd see in Aladdin. He joked with his grandpa, asking if it was real. At the end of the day his grandpa handed him the lamp laughing, telling him it was payment for helping out. Alex chuckled and accepted the gift thinking nothing of it until he got home. Exhausted he sat the lamp down on the table and starred longingly at it, wishing that things could be fixed with a simple trinket. With nothing to lose but looking silly he brushed the dust off the lamp and gave it a good polish. Suddenly the lamp rumbled and fell from his hands landing back on the table. The lamp shock more and more violently until finally a blast of blue smoke erupted from the tip. Alex coughed as smoke filled his room obscuring the floor.
"Mmmhhh, It's been so long." A sultry female voice moaned.
Alex looked up and saw a Arabic woman suddenly standing in the room stretching her arms. She was thin with a dancer's physique, long black hair pulled into a ponytail by a golden brace. Her skin was tan covered by a semi transparent blue harem outfit.
"Who are you?" Alex coughed finally able to speak once the smoke cleared.
"I am Nadia, master. A Djinn." Nadia explained her tone almost bored. "For freeing me I will grant you three wishes. Wish and you will be given exactly what you ask for."
"This is amazing." Alex said grinning widely.
Nadia looked at Alex drooling with ideas and sighed. Things hadn't changed much in how ever many thousand of years she was gone. "What is your desire master?" Nadia said breaking the silence.
