Who to show, if this thing worked then the possibilities were endless, you stood there thinking, when a shout broke the silence, "Tom" your mother screamed, "where are you? You're going to be late for school", you sighed school day, then as quick as it had come, your frown parted, and a smile replaced it as all the new possiblys occurred to you.
You were still smiling on the bus as it drove through each neighbourhood, as the incredible ideas flooded into your mind, you sat there as visions of giant cheerleaders lifting the footballer boyfriends; of nerds beating up there previous bullies, you chuckled, this would be fun. The bus stopped, and you among the ominous crowds of groaning teenagers got out.
First period went by very slowly, you sat there at the back, you kept the Muscle wand in your bag as you couldn't find any situation to test it, you considered turning Mr Henricks into the next Mr Universe, but decided against it. You just sat there at the back, you felt like falling asleep, you normally enjoyed history but to do you couldn't focus.
Second period was no better, Mrs Gregory droned on, it felt just like a normal school day, only worse, as you had something to make it interesting, but so far, no opportunity to use had presented its self to use it. You groaned again, however it wasn't long before first period ended, and you walked out on to the field hoping that break would be more interesting.
And then that's when you spotted Andrew, Andrew was probably your best friend you had known him for years, and you got on very well with him, you shared interests and basically you enjoyed each other's company, Andrew was almost a year older than him, but looking at him, it would be impossible to tell this, he was only about five foot four, and his limbs looked like twigs, he only weighed about 100 pounds, and the rest of his body wasn't any better.
And all of this didn't help him, he was the constant prey of the schools bullies, as you watched, you saw bone cruncher Boris, lifting him with one arm, and hanging him on the fence, before leaving to find other victims, you felt sorry for Andrew and wished there was something you could do to help him, and then an idea hit you.
Quickly you ran over to him, and helped him get down "thanks mate" he said, "Man I hate Bone cruncher Boris, what I would give to show him what that feels like." you smiled, "Well Andrew" you began, "today's your lucky day." "What?" He said, you didn't answer, you only smiled and pulled out the wand and pointed it at him, the wand started to glow "Activate" you said, and a blue burst of light shot out of the wand and hit Andrew.
It was only a short burst, but when the dust cleared, you were shocked dot discover nothing had happened, you stared at the wand, as if wondering if it was broken, when suddenly a voice said "Reality Mode initiated", and then Andrew started to glow again, and you stared at him in shock, his whole body started to grow.
His arms gained Muscle, his legs expanded, outwards till they were the size of tree trunks, he chest became colossal, he gained almost a foot in height, by the time he was finished you weren't even sure if he was the same person any more, his whole body was different, he looked like an escaped power lifter, you continued to stand the gaping at him, but then he spoke, "hey mate" he said in his usual friendly tone, "how are you?"
You didn't answer you were still staring at his bulk, he looked down at himself, and then said "I know, but I haven't been able to get to the gym recently", before you could continue your conversation, a hearty laughter broke out through air, you turned, and watched Bone cruncher lifting another small kid, in the air by his shirt.
Andrew sighed, "Excuse me a minute mate, got to go straighten this out."
You watched as Andrew walked across the field to Bone crusher, now standing a good four inches above him, he posed no threat to him, you couldn't hear what they were saying, but you could tell from there expressions, that Bone cruncher was clearly terrified of Andrew now, you watched, as Andrew grabbed him, by the shoulder and hauled him on the fence.
You smiled, happy to watch the tyrant get his comeuppance, you watched ahead as he walked off with a large gang of Brone crusher's previous victims, and you smiled knowing you had greatly improved your best friend's life. This was fun, you had to try it again, you smiled as memories of your previous fantasies came flooding back to you, but then it dawned on you, you didn't know much about this wand, surely it would be safer to run some tests first, after all that is what any good scientist would do, and you had always wanted to be a scientist.
