She grows immediately

Within a minute, she grew over 200 feet tall. Upon reaching that height, she let forth an expulsion of gas from both possible orifices. Those who weren't awoken by the sound were awoken by the smell. It didn't even take ten minutes for a crowd to form at her feet.
"Yes!" she said. "It worked! You're all bugs! Bugs!"
Carina was at the front, holding her nose. "Geez, Mandy. Making you forty times your size made you forty times as disgusting."
An overwhelming urge to squash Carina entered her mind. She was the size of her big toe. It would be easy. But she didn't want to go down that path, but the rage was building. And building.
