After Tiffany and Grant were loaded into the van, Anne returned to the office.

"We're all set. But hey, did you want to come along and watch the surgery? I know you don't always get along with Doctor Hawke..."

Provert considered. He had given Hawke complete instructions. The only reason to go would be to observe the surgery personally and perhaps interview the couple during their hopefully speedy recovery.

Otherwise, Julia and Anne would give him a progress report later.

2. Stay in the office
