Scooping up everything, Jamie made his way back upstairs. He took a trip to Rob's room where he booted up his computer and burned the disks. He opened up a media player and gave the first track a listen. It was some kind of ambient music, not something be normally into but this stuff too wasn't bad. In fact, after the first track finished, he went to close the media player but stopped when the next one started.
“I'll just finish this track then I'll delete them,” Jamie thought to himself leaning back in the computer chair. He closed his eyes and listened. “Its actually kind of relaxing once you got used to it.” When the the next track came on, he smirked thinking, “Just one more.”
When he finally opened his eyes, he was shocked to see a few hour's had gone by. He must have fallen asleep or something, but he didn't feel tired at all. Actually, he felt great, if a bit hungry. With a little force of will he closed the media program. He was dragging the tracks to the recycle bin when he decided against it. He got up and went into the guest room, where he had been staying, and came back with his mp3 player. He plugged it in and transferred the tracks over.
“No need to let them go to waste,” he thought, “I might want to hear them again some day.” After they finished, he deleted the original tracks and went downstairs once more. He put the letter and package back on the coffee table in the living room then stepped into the kitchen. After a quick search he grabbed a bag of some leftover turkey and went to make himself a sandwich.
