Applejack groans, rubbing her hoof against her temple as she rolls out of her bed. Harvest season wasn't for a while yet, so she'd slept until the sun was already well on its way through the sky.
Growl...
Or it would be, if her stomach hadn't woken her up. As it was, Celestia had hardly risen it an inch into the sky. Applejack sighed, glowering down at her belly once she realized the time. Her form was sturdy and strong, a testament to the years of her life spent on Sweet Apple Acres. Her recent eating had done little to affect her figure, save for her firm stomach gaining a little give to it.
"Why can't you jus' let me sleep on a day off?" She murmured quietly as she made for the door to her room. She slipped outside, taking care not to wake her family. Slipping downstairs, she stood in her kitchen, the delectable scents and smells of leftovers and sweet, delicious goodies waiting for her to eat.
Only one question was left- How would she start her breakfast?
