…nothing happened. Erin thought for sure that Gretchen would find a way into her room and do something to her clothes or something, but everything was as she left it. She put on her clothes, a gray tanktop and blue denim jeans. Then she went downstairs to the kitchen to have breakfast. Gretchen was there, talking on her cell phone. Erin figured that was the only reason her sister hadn’t done anything to her yet.
Erin had cereal and orange juice while Gretchen got off the phone and said to her, “I’m driving us to school. Be ready in half an hour.” This surprised Erin. She was planning on taking the bus.
