"I want to know why we never talked about me confessing my love towards you during the Pain battle! I understand shorttly after that, there was the war, but that was 2 years ago! 2 years! If you didn't love me or want to give me a chance, you should have told me, instead of stringing me along, wondering whether you'd return my feelings or not!" yelled a very angry Hinata.
Naruto was scared by this point. He was used to seeing Sakura angry, but seeing Hinata, who he's never seen angry, very mad at him made him terrified.
"I..I...I.." stuttered Naruto, unable to form a reply at the moment.
"What's the matter, Naruto? Don't tell me one of the strongest ninjas alive crumbles at an anngry female?" replied Hinata.
That got Naruto to find his voice. "I-I'm s-sorry. Hinata. I didn't w-want to h-hurt your feelings. Please f-forgive me", replied Naruto. By the end of his stuttering, he was looking at the ground, poking his fingers.
Hinata was momentarily shocked. It was lke looking into the past, only reversed. Instead of her stuttering and being nervous in front of Naruto, here he was doing her old habits in front of her. 'This is going to be fun. Naruto's starting to act like the younger me. I wonder how far I can push him fully into my old, unconfident, and nervous self' thought Hinata to herself.
"Naruto, if you want to me to forgive you, then you're going to take me on the best date of my life! An it better be good!" said Hinata in a voice that promised unpleasant things to Naruto should he disappoint her.
Naruto was shocked at the condition fr her forgiveness. He didn't think that she would ask hi to take her on a date after how angry she was at him. He picked up his head to look at her and he felt himself redden. "S-sure, H-Hinata. I w-will take you on the b-best d-date ever" he replied as he continued to poke his fingers.
Hinata smiled in her mind at Naruto becoming more and more like her old self with each passing second.
