"Well Naruto, I was wondering if you could do me a little favor." Sakura finally spoke up.
"Anything for you Sakura! You know that."
Sakura smiled at Naruto in response to his words, reached into her pack and pulled out a pill that looked similar to the horrible tasting food pills she had made for him when he was learning the rasenshuriken.
"I'm glad to hear that. I've developed a new food pill and I would like you to try it."
"What does it do?" Naruto nervously asked. He ate every single food pill that Sakura ever made him, because he appreciated the time and effort Sakura took to help him... But that appreciation didn't make those things taste any better. They were horrible!
"Oh you know..." Sakura grinned. "Some new things that I think are an improvement from the old pills."
"What kind of new things?" Naruto pressed. It wasn't that he didn't trust Sakura, he was just looking for an excuse to get out of eating one of Sakura's food pills again. Any excuse would do.
"Nothing bad! Don't you trust me Naruto?" Sakura pouted.
"Of course I trust you!" Naruto quickly replied. "More than anyone in this world. I just want to know what I'm getting myself into here."
"Well sounds to me like you don't trust me." Sakura countered, pout still on her face.
"I... just give it here Sakura." Naruto sighed. He loved Sakura, but she could be bat shit crazy sometimes and he had learned by now to just go with it when her crazy showed itself.
Sakura grinned and handed Naruto the pill. "Eat up!"
Naruto popped the pill into his mouth and held back a cringe at the taste. Sakura was a very talented woman, but making things that tasted good was not one of her many talents.
"Hmmm..." Sakura tapped her hand against her chin. "How do you feel Naruto?"
"I feel fi...I'm starting to feel funny Sakura..." Naruto said as a strange feeling started spreading through his body.
