Naruto sighed. He understood Hinata's pain all too well. But she deserved the truth. "I know how much it's going to suck to hear this... but I will always love Sakura. I'm sorry, but I could never be anything more with you. It wouldn't be fair to you or me if I tried to force anything."

"I see..." Hinata quietly replied. She had her head bowed, so Naruto couldn't see her face. He hoped he didn't hurt her too bad...
