Chapter #5One day as "Watson" by: Viraqua   One day as Watson.
Ah. Watson. Joy. Ino was conscripting him into one of her detective "cases" again. She had done it before, shortly after he had come back from his training trip. Her cases tended to be overhyped, and more products of rumor than actual mysteries, that were usually solved with no small amount of confusion as to whether they were even solved at all.
Still, they tended to be a fun time compared to the rest of his usual activities.
"You know, you didn't have to "trap" me into coming with you Ino", he admitted.
A slight tinge of pink showed up on her cheeks as she crossed her arms, " I know that! I could have easily just dragged you right off the street. But now I don't have to hear you complaining about your stomach the whole time", she justified.
"You sure you just didn't want to cook me a nice lunch to strengthen our bonds of lo-BUGHP!", he wheezed out as she flopped onto his lap.
"Onto the case, Watson! Now, it has come to my attention that the Hyuuga clan heiress has disappeared", Ino said as she slapped a photo to Naruto's head.
He pulled the photo off, " Hinata's missing? How do you-GCK! Wh-why do you have a naked picture of Hinata?!", Naruto cried out as he looked at the photo a little too long and gave himself a nosebleed.
"I have a photo of everybody in Konoha! It's essential for detective work!", Ino harumphed.
Naruto ran that through his head again, " Wait! Does that include me?!"
"Maybe", Ino evaded as she hopped off his lap, " Anyways, it's our job to find out what happened to her"
Naruto pushed his current thoughts aside, " Alright, how long has she been gone?"
"Don't know how long exactly, only that she was supposed to meet me for breakfast this morning and never showed up"
"Maybe she just forgot"
Ino put her hands on her hips, " Prim and proper little Hinata, forget? Hardly. She's not you, you know"
"Hey, I'm not that forgetful. I even remember your birthday"
" And, yet, you never showed up to my party"
" I never got an invitation"
"I told Sakura to......bitch", Ino blurted out when she realized it, " Anyways, she wouldn't forget. So, first stop is the Hyuuga district to talk to her father. Oh!", Ino remembered before opening her closet and rifling through her junk.
Naruto was too busy turning red in embarrassment. Apparently she had turned her picture of him into a poster.
"Here it is!", she proclaimed as she shut the door and held up a magnifying glass to her face, " Detective Ino and Watson are on the case!"
"You still have eye crusties", Naruto informed her, and got an elbow jab to the ribs.
"ANYWAYS, first stop is the Hyuuga compound to talk to her father", Ino proclaimed.....as she wiped her eyes out.  | Members who added to this interactive story also contributed to these: |
