The sudden noise out in the street brought Becky to see what was up. Yet up was not where George was, he was down and out cold on the street.
Pushing people to one side Becky knelt down by her best friend.
"George, George?" called Becky but with little response.
Eyes closed and being limp he looked as if he's had a stroke.
"Back up this rig!" yelled a Medic as he opened his red box.
The coachdriver pulled on the reins and called to his lead horses to back up. "Sampson, back Sampson back!"
As the reins tightened and the big horses scrambled with short steps the coach backed up to give room for treating George.
A screaming whinnie suddenly roared out of Sampson as he strained to look down at George laying in the street. Meanwhile as the name of Sampson was called, George's eyes went wide and he tried to roll up onto all fours.
A scramble of Paramedics and onlookers tried to control the fierce tries of the injured man to get up and run away. As arms and legs flagged in every direction the silver ring flew into the air.
