To keep him away from Sirius Black

Harry is was angry about Sirius Black. After, he found out that not only was the man a deranged murderer but also his Godfather, to turn around and stab his parents in the back, after they trusted him with not only there own lives but his also.

While wandering the halls in his invisibility cloak one night, to go the restricted section of the Hogwarts library, he bumped into Hermione who without being told knew who it was. There was a few moments of awkwardness before either of them could talk.

"What are you doing out here in the middle of the night?" Hermione asked him.

"Uhmm, I was just .... I ... what are you doing here too?" Harry retorted, "You are supposed to be in bed by now, what are you doing out past curfew?".

"Don't you dare try and avoid my question Harry, you have no right to question me" Hermione said.

"And you have no right to question me either" retorted Harry.

They however already knew the answers, Harry was on his way to research about Sirius Black and Hermione was on her way to the library, specifically the restricted section, in her quest to learn as much as possible.
Without uttering another word, they both went under the invisibility cloak and back to the common room.

Once they were in their house, the argument began all over, "Do you really think I'm going to let you do this to yourself Harry?" Hermione asked.

"Do what Hermione, get justice for my parents murder?, Do you think I should just ignore that he's still out there?"

"Harry James Potter, your parents did not sacrifice there lives just so you could get yourself killed," She yelled at him, "and I won't just stand back and let you do it. "

Before Harry could even blink Hermione's wand was pointed right between his eyes, the tip glowing with a bright yellow spell almost as bright as the sun,
that he had never seen before.
