Beatrice O'Doyle is a 81 year old widow, who lives in a retirement home, due to her inability to care for herself aptly at home. Her two daughters had her committed, and now she pends her days sitting around mostly doped up. Beatrice wears tights, dresses and sandals every day as she is dressed by the carers. She can only eat soft foods as she has dentures now.
