You take a few seconds to steady your nerves and then grab a flashlight and head towards the back door. You really didn't want to go outside, but it could be dangerous with the power out and you wouldn't be out there very long. "Okay, I can do this..." You say to yourself as you pull open the door slowly and take a quick look around with your flashlight. Aside from some movement off in the distance and a little in the nearby weeds it seemed like any other crisp clear night. It was pretty cool without your jacket, but you tried to focus all your attention at the task at hand. After about a minute of following a wire you came to an old wooden shed that had grass growing up through the floorboards in places and didn't even have a front door. Inside was a rusty old machine that thankfully appeared to be simple to operate. "Okay then, lets see if I can do this..." You say as you walk up to the machine for a closer look...
