A few days later, Cameron and Christina's bet was still going strong. Neither wanted to give in and admit defeat. Christina had taken to wearing briefs most of the day since they fit better under her clothes, especially when she wore skirts. At night, she would wear boxers to bed. They were actually kind of comfy to sleep in. Cameron, meanwhile tried to stick to the less girly options when it came to Christina's underwear.
They were still the only ones who knew about the bet too, not letting their friends find out about it. They kept it from their mother too. Not even their sister Anna found out. A couple days after their bet started, it ended up being just the two of them in the house for the foreseeable future. Anna went on a three-day trip with some of her friends to her friend's family's beach house and their mother had to go on a rather long business trip.
And so, Christina suggested they step things up. "It's clear neither one of us is going to give up so easily," Christina said.
"You're right," Cameron agreed.
"That's why I think, starting today, we should trade an addition item of clothing every day until one of us gives in," Christina continued.
"You're on," Cameron said. "But what are we going to trade today?"
After some discussion, the siblings agreed to trade ___ first.
