As the drive continued, they stopped at a lake that was on the way to take a break and go for a swim. They pulled into the parking lot as Helen told the kids to get changed.
As the three siblings went to grab their luggage, Cameron's sister quickly found their bags, and then waited for Cameron to find his. And waited. And waited.
The girls wondered what was taking Cameron so long, and Anna shared how she accidentally packed a second swim suit and laughed about it with her sister. Cameron closed the trunk empty-handed and walked over to his mom and sisters, his face downcast and his cheeks flushed.
"Don't you want to swim, sweetie?" his mom asked.
"I can't find my luggage." Silence settled on the three. "I must have left it on my bed."
