Cameron actually did not have any urgent assignments or tests. All of his friends, however, were either cramming and finishing homework due that day. Usually, Cam was in the same boat, but not today.
To avoid distracting his friends, he sat away from them and fatally tried to find the motivation to study.
Cameron was playing a game on his phone when he heard a girl's voice.
"Excuse me, could you move over a bit? " Looking up from his phone, Cameron saw Amelia Banks in full cheer attire.
"Unless you want to get your nails painted," Emily Wilford chipped in, her long blonde hair pulled packed into a ponytail, hand playing with a bottle of nail polish.
Cam chuckled and grabbed his bag while Amelia's face lit up.
"Oh, that would be so much fun," Amelia said, grin full of glee and mischief.
"No, I don't mind moving," Cam said.
"Oh, don't be a scaredy cat," Emily said coyly. "Aren't we better than playing on your phone all alone?"
"Come on, it will be fun," Amelia smiled, giving him an almost flirtatious gesture to join.
"Uhhh" Cam said as the two girls smiled and cajoled him.
"Come on, it will be fun," Emilia smiled, batting her eyelashes, which was much more effective from the cheerleader than Cameron's sisters.
So Cam ended up sitting next to two of the prettiest and most popular girls in the school, wearing their chair uniforms as _____ painted his fingernails.
