Cameron first tried seeing if either of his best friends Jordyn and Mitch were available. As they were his closest friends, he always thought to try them first. He sent each of them a text, but, unfortunately, both of them replied that they were busy today. Jordyn was out with her friends Maggy and Jen, and Mitch had to go to some family thing.
Since neither of them were free, Cameron tried texting his friend Sam instead. After a few minutes, Sam replied. Unlike Jordyn and Mitch, he said wasn't busy and invited Cameron over if he wanted to hang out. Cam told him that he was on his way, then put on his black and white skate shoes and headed out.
Cameron grabbed his skateboard and rode it over to Sam's house. Sam lived relatively close by, so it didn't take very long. When he arrived, Cameron rang the bell and was soon greeted by his friend. He was wearing a grey t-shirt and a pair of dark blue skinny jeans.
"Hey," Sam said as Cameron entered his house.
"Sup, dude?" Cameron replied.
"Oh, not much really," Sam said. "Just a little bored."
"I know the feeling," Cameron said, laughing. "So, what do you wanna do?"
"I'm not really sure," Sam said. "My stepmom's still at work so we don't need to be worried about being too loud at least."
"Good to know," Cameron said. Sam's stepmom Jane was nice, if a bit strict, but she did like having her privacy and the house was a bit small.
