Welcome to Plus Earth

It was another peaceful day in the X-Mansion. Several mutants were walking through the hall as they were going about their day. All mutants and pretty much the whole world was fat. Being fat had been socially acceptable since anyone last remembered. That's because this is Plus Earth, an alternate universe where everybody is fat even the women. Yet when it comes to gaining weight it is mainly a male pastime since many women already viewed themselves as the pinnacle of beauty. Now Plus Earth isn't without its own set of problems. Villains still try to take over the world, but with heroes like the X-men and Avengers they don't stand a chance.
Now one mutant was striving to be the best at what he does. That mutant is known as Wolverine aka James Logan Howlett. Born in 1856, James or as most call him Logan, is a mutant with a regenerative healing factor, claws that transform into adamantium upon exposure to air via a liquid metal coating. Unlike the Wolverines from the other universes, Logan lives an exciting life filled with many pleasantries coupled with obstacles. Born to a well to do family this Wolverine was indulged from the crib onward. As a child Logan was heavier than his peers. He was tutored in every subject and lived quite a good life. His life changed when his parents were murdered. Upon seeing his parents murdered his mutation manifested. In a fit of anger he got his revenge on his parents' killer.
He then fled with his best friend Rosanne. After several years Logan had grown into a huge man. At 6'3" and weighing at least 600 lbs. He finally married his childhood sweetheart who weighed half as much as he did. They had plans to move out of Canada and to the States, but that plan was put on hold when his wife had been kidnapped one night. Wolverine tired searching for his missing wife, but ran into deadends. Without his loving wife his weight plateaued at 625 lbs. and he has stayed that weight ever since that incident. Logan, as a result of endless searching, has lived and fought in many wars and traveled the earth. It wasn't until 30 years has passed that he accepted that his wife is probably long gone. It would take the same weird cause and kidnapper to reveal if his wife was truly alive after 100 years or so of being missing from the face of the Earth.
Now Wolverine enjoyed his time as a superhero, but couldn't shake the feeling that he had to know if Rosanne is truly gone from his life. Despite that he's not going to let the other X-men outweigh him any longer. Wolverine is determined not to only prove that he's the best at what he does, but if he can get closure to the question plaguing his mind then he can finally move on with his love life.
