Kyle and the Dark Apartment

Kyle takes the portable core out of the machine, and walks off in the dead of night toward his girlfriend, Robin's house. He sends her a text message, hoping that she's awake. "Hey. Coming over. Gotta show u something." When Kyle gets to the apartment, the door is unlocked, but everything is dark. Either everyone is asleep, or no one is home. Deciding not to wake her up, your brother just lays down on Robin's couch. He was more tired than he realized, because he passed out right away, with one of the earbuds of the portable switcher hanging down.

When Kyle wakes up the next morning,
