Yet, right before your eyes there's evidence that proves otherwise, and it's you! It's too much to process right away, and your heart is beating fast. Suddenly Lena's playful smile seems more sinister to you, and she's in your body!
You break away from Lena's touch, and step away and suddenly-

Your body erupts in a puff of smoke, and you feel it folding in on itself as you shrink down to a fraction of your size. You instinctively know to start flapping your arms, which have been replaced by tiny bat wings. You're soaring around mid air in your garage, smacking into things and making a ton of noise. You can hear footsteps, which your hearing can triangulate right down to coming from your parents' bedroom, as your dad barges into the garage.
Right before the door opens, a pair of hands grab you, and you're shoved behind a back.
"Luke, what in God's name are you doing?" your dad mumbles, still half asleep. "Do you have any idea how late it is? Get to bed!"
