Patti sat merrily humming to herself as Dr. Stein explained to her the experiment she had volunteered for although she wasn't listening very closely.

"This serum is meant to improve the physical strength of those injected with it by promoting the growth of healthy muscle tissue." Stein explain to the cheerful weapon. "while I'm certain that the serum won't have any drastic negative side effects the purpose of this experiment is to determine certain variables in how it affects the body."

"What?" Patti said having not paid attention.

"Just stick out your left arm please." Stein said relenting to the fact that discussing scientific matters with Patti was a futile endeavor.

Stein injected a needle full of light blue liquid into Patti's arm.
