Yes, the kiss worked.

When Kyle opened his eyes, Batgirl was now hugely muscular and easily snapped her bonds. She then procceded to charge the cattle and pummel each beast with her fists. Kyle skipped ahead a few pages to see Batgirl flexing a triumpant double bicep pose with a badly beated Riddler on the ground. It had worked!
Kyle was now eager to test his kiss on...
