"You really need to learn when to shut up, Ash," you tell your sister. You reach out and grab her mouth, then pull it right off her face, leaving a blank patch of skin. Panic fills her eyes as she tries to speak, only to make no sound.
"That's right," you say. "I've got some new abilities. And just in case you think of telling someone, you and I are the only two people who will notice a difference. Everyone else will think you've never had a mouth."
Tears start filling Ashlie's eyes as she gives you a pleading look.
"Don't worry, sis. If you behave, I'll consider giving it back to you."
You tauntingly dangle her mouth in front of her and she tries to reach out for it.
"uh-uh," you say, holding it up out of reach. "You don't get this back just yet. If you be good for the rest of the day, I'll give it back ... maybe."
A look of resignation appears on Ashlie's face.
"Understood?" you ask.
She nods.
"Good. Now, scram."
Your sister quickly leaves the room, then you laugh. "This power is going to be so much fun," you say. You then look at Ashlie's mouth in your hand. "Now, what am I going to do with you?"
