"They should be ready within 5 minutes, then I can see if these are for real," Chris Holiday said to himself.
Earlier today, Chris and his family were getting ready for Halloween, TPing the house to make it look like ghosts flying, carving pumpkins to make Jack-o-lanterns, even getting costumes to wear(not for trick-or-treating, just for fun). While looking in the attic for the box of fake bats to hang from the ceiling, he found a box he had never seen up here before. It said 'Costume MC Accessories: put one on a girl, and she'll become your loyal slave' on the side. 'This must be some sort of trick by my sisters,' Chris thought, 'but this doesn't look like something they would do, so it might be a treat from fate.' "Chris, hurry up and bring the fake bats!" Carol shouted. "Coming, Mom!" Chris shouted back. 'Man I wish I could be in control for once.' Then he took another look at the box. 'Maybe it wouldn't hurt to see if this is a trick or a treat.' Since the attic was right next to his room, he took the accessory box and the box full of fake bats downstairs, and put the accessory box under his bed before going to take the other box to his mother.
Chris decided test it out on the first one that comes into his room.
A few minutes later, he heard a knock at his door. He called, "Who is it?"
