They all watched as the first card was flipped over to reveal the words Hair Style with what looked like a wig being depicted on the card.
"Ohh a good one!" Katie said excitedly as she quickly looked at her cards and placed her bet.
"Well that's a card for the girls" Mark thought to himself as he looked at the 6 cards he had been dealt. He frowned as he saw that his highest card was a queen and it was a poor hand overall with a jack, 9, 10, 6, and a 4 being his other cards. He decided that he probably wouldn't be winning this hand with the interest that Katie was showing so he played his 4.
"Alright time to show." Mary said after everyone had played their card. She revealed an 7 while Erin showed a 2 not caring for her hair all to much and their dad Chris played a 5. Katie saw what they played and smiled as she revealed a 9.
"Figured I could scare you guys off. That means I get the first powers. I wonder what I can do with them." She said picking up the card and focusing on using her new found power. The card glowed in her hand and Mary gasped. Everyone turned to her as they watched her hair that she kept shot grow down to just below her shoulders. She turned and pulled some of it in front of her face as she inspected it before letting it fall back behind her.
"Wow I'm regretting not betting more on this one. I could have so much fun with hair that I would have to worry about." Mary said.
"Well let me test one more thing." Katie said as the card glowed again. This time Mary's now longer hair magically began to braid itself into two pig tails that would look cute on a 5 year old but strange on a grown woman.
"Oh this will be to much fun!" Katie laughed. "But I'll stop for now. Lets get started on the next round." She exclaimed as she flipped over the next card.
