She goes to open the booklet but before she could read the first coupon Rick stops her, placing his hand over hers.
“You don’t have to use them already, how about a foot rub on the house?” he asks,
“Aww baby.” She says, “Or how about a shower for two instead?” she suggests, “Sounds great, now why don’t I put the book somewhere safe and we can get this celebrations started.” He says reaching for the book.
“Well if this is on the house, why don’t you get the water started and I’ll be right behind you.” She says gesturing to the master bathroom.
“Ah yeah great idea… one hot shower coming up.” He said
He then walks into the bathroom and starts the water. “Well at least I’m off the hook for now, and maybe this is better, since she was the one who puts it somewhere I just have to help her misplace it and I’ll be off the hook without even doing anything. I mean I’m sure there are plenty of fun coupons in there but I don’t plan on honoring any of the sweet sappy ones.” He thinks to himself sneaking around the house to see where she put the booklet.
He peers around the corner to see her place it on the kitchen table.
“Hey baby, are you ready for me?” she exclaims still thinking he is in the back of the house. He quickly rush back to make it looks like he was coming to get her.
“Oh yeah baby.” He says
The two of them then proceed back down the hall and enjoy their shower. Afterwards the fun continued in the bedroom. And when she was satisfied and resting, Rick made his way back to the kitchen to clear off the table and the counters, he even washed the dishes all to mask his disposal of the booklet into the trash.
Until he turns around to see her standing there, “Wow this is a surprise.” She says smiling, “Baby I swear it’s not what it looks like…” Rick says quickly, “Wait so you’re not cleaning?” she says laughing, “Ah… I mean... It’s not… done yet…” he says smiling.
“Well honey it looks great.” She says walking over to the table. “Hey what happened to the booklet? I know I put it right here.” She says
He then glances over to the trashcan. She notices and rushes over to the see a new bag and only one thing at the very bottom. She then looks to him with the same infuriating stare that she had met you with earlier this evening.
“Baby I can explain…” he says quickly, “Well let me take a stab at it. You wanted to make the gesture without having to do anything! I should have known it was too good to be true!” she exclaims
