Wait for guidance

Eric placed his trust in his allies especially when it came to wisdom, because his strength was in his muscles. He found no shame in it because each person had their role to play in the world from the mighty lion to the tiny mouse. It should be interesting to see who the grandchild was the elder had picked for this dangerous mission.

“I will wait for your grandchild because you have never led me astray before,” Eric said.

“You tempt an old coyote with such words but I am wise enough to know fooling a young wolverine is too easy to be good sport and if discovered the payout would be very poor,” the Elder smiled. “Come, let us meet the companion I have chosen for you and you can let me know if I have chosen well.”
