Hermione Granger walked to the back of the library, back to where she could study all the magical books to her heart's content. But as she walked down an aisle, she saw an unfamiliar book lying on the ground, with what appeared to be two bugs lying on the ground. One of the bugs -- a reddish-black-colored one -- scampered away, but the other one just stood still and gazed up at her. As she drew nearer, she saw that it was no bug -- it was none other than Harry Potter, one of her best friends!
Instead of avoiding the tiny figure or stepping on it like she would have if it were a bug, she knelt and scooped it up. Ignoring the book and the other orange bug, she pocketed Harry and scanned the library, trying to find an out-of-the-way table that she could sit at and talk to Harry without raising suspicions. Finding one, she briskly walked over to it, set down the pillar of books she was carrying, and took out the shrunken Boy Who Lived.
Meanwhile, Ron had to run to keep up with the behemoth Miss Granger as her quick, wide strides easily carried her far away. Finally reaching her when she sat down, he considered whether he should try to climb her or whether it was best if he stay low. Suddenly, all three heard footsteps approaching...
