"Damnit," Harry grumbled. "There's still nothing!"
"I can't find anything either mate." Ron sighed.
After hours of searching, they found nothing and it was beginning to turn night now.
Strangely enough, though, Ron began to feel faintly tingly. It was very slow, pretty much unnoticeable, but Ron could have sworn he was taller than Harry a moment ago. Yeah, they're both giants, but he was definitely sure he was taller than Harry.
"Uh, mate." Ron piped up. "Do I seem shorter to your you?"
"Hm?" Harry looked up from his laid back position on the floor. "You look the same to me."
After around 10 minutes or so, it was definitely noticeable. When Ron grew Harry, he was 10ft 5inches and when Harry gigantified Ron he grew to 11ft tall, but now that they checked again Ron was now 9ft 8. On the other hand, Harry hadn't shrunk at all.
"Oh that's so unfair, why are you shrinking and I'm not?" Harry groaned.
"Let's check the book again then." Ron pointed out. "Maybe there's something we missed."
Grabbing the book and flicking through to the right page, they found it.
The effects should wear off after a couple of hours, but multiple castings of the spell of the target as well as the quality of the wand can affect the potency and duration of the spell.
"Ron, did you use your broken wand on me?" Harry asked.
"Um, maybe?" Ron answered sheepishly.
"Bloody hell Ron, you've kept that thing since 2nd year and now look what it's done!" Harry yelled angrily. "Who knows how long it'll take for this to wear off!"
"I'm sorry I'm sorry!" Ron apologised quickly, seeing his friend's angry look.
