Harry followed behind Ron as he strut down to the Gryffindor common room, suddenly filled with more confidence.
As Ron entered the common room all eyes turned to him. A large number of Gryffindor girls smiled dreamily and giggled as he came in.
Ron flexed his arms subtly, feeling on top of the world. Ron had always wanted to stand out, to be looked up to instead of being overlooked. He had always felt so overshadowed by his brothers and Harry, but not anymore. Maybe he wasn't the funny one like Fred and George, of the one with perfect grades like Percy, or the chosen one like Harry, but finally he was something. He was the buff one!
Granted Bill and Charlie had always been pretty buff too, but right now Ron was bigger than either of them had been at his age.
Harry watched on in confusion as Ron strode through the common room, winking at the crowd of girls while popping his pecs. Why was he acting so different? So... cocky?
