This choice: "Maximus Unitas" - Ron and Harry merge into one body • Go Back...Chapter #5"Maximus Unitas" - Ron and Harry merge ... by: scriptboy   “RON! NOOOO!” Harry shouted, as a spell was cast on him from the strange book of spells that Ron had opened before him. Harry knew that he had wanted to show the book, along with all the strange spells included in the old tome, to Hermione first, before trying out any of them, but Ron couldn’t wait!
A weird blast of light had struck Harry in the chest, clearly a burst of magic from Ron’s wand, because of him reading a verse out of the book out loud. Harry knew already that he was going to be in BIG trouble!
But then something else happened. The beam of light, which first struck Harry, continued to circle the room, as if it was searching for a second body. This was one of those spells which required two souls for the spell to work, and the closest person or the only other person in the room was… Ron!
The blue beam of light then struck Ron himself, causing him to drop the wand on the floor!
Next, Harry and Ron were being pulled towards one another like magnets, and they were helpless to resist the powerful magic of the spell from the old book! The magic was too strong, even though Ron and Harry tried desperately to hang on to pieces of furniture like the edges of the sofas or the sides of the old, heavy bookcases in the library. Eventually, the boys’ grips let go, and the two young men flew towards each other, smashing into one another and then falling onto the floor.
After a moment, Ron and Harry gained consciousness from their fall. They tried to stand up, but they noticed something very, very strange. Both boys now occupied the same body, with one set of arms and one set of legs, but on top of the shoulders there were two necks and two heads: those belonging to Harry on the left, and Ron on the right!
“Why does my body feel weird?”
“I need to hold on to something. I’m having a hard time standing straight.”
“Hey! My legs are moving on their own!”
“Those are MY legs!”
Ron and Harry then looked at each other.
“AAAAAAAHHHH!” they both shouted in unison.
“You bloody IDIOT!” Harry screamed. “You merged our bodies together into ONE body!”
“Oh no! Ohh, no, no, no, NOOO!” Ron stammered. “I knew we were close, Harry. But… This is too close!”
Harry and Ron looked at their predicament. Then they read the results of the spell in the old book. They would be stuck like this in one body for the next SEVEN DAYS!  indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
