The Players are pretty much people who have died in the real ground (Or RG for short) and are being given the chance to live again by playing a dangerous game.

They all have their reasons for wanting to win but if it comes down to it, they will fight other players to reach the end.

There are even Players who don't care about making friends but considering the nature of the Reaper's game, that's not a huge surprise.
