It was early in the morning, Kovu was waking up by the large rock outside the den of Pride Rock, he knew he wasn't fully trusted in the Pride Lands but that didn't bother him too much, it was expected due to him being a former Outlander.
Kovu saw kiara coming out of the den, he wanted to build up trust in the Pride Lands so he offered a hunting lesson to her.
"Hey Kiara I was wondering if you wanted to go on a hunting lesson with me," Kovu said trying to be friendly. Kiara replied:"I guess I could use some practice, sure, let's go."
Out in the fields of the Pride Lands, Kovu was showing Kiara how to move more quietly and stalk up on prey, they were in the tall grass watching some antelope grazing. "OK, now keep low to the ground, feel the earth under your paws and then attack," Kovu said.
Kiara nodded and stalked to the antelope, she crouched and jumped after one. The chase was on. The antelopes scattered in panic but thanks to Kovu's training Kiara easily took one down. She was in triumph.
"Thank you, Kovu, for all your help," Kiara said hapily.
