"Well, we'll carve up these seals, and I'll cook up one of them. How does both sides, some tail, and liver sound?"
Sokka chuckled, "You know it's always good coming from you. The only thing it need to be is enough for me!'
By the time they took care of the seals, carving up the meat and taking out the guts, Sokka was hungry yet again. He couldn't resist sneaking out a chunk of fat to chew on while he worked, savoring the rich flavor. Katara poked him in the cheek playfully, knowing he couldn't resist getting something in his mouth even in the relatively short time between meals. Sokka plowed though the meal, filling up as quickly as Katara could cook. Slabs of seal, little charred fish, and boiled tail with ice-grasses all settled heavily in his pudgy stomach.
"Whew Katara, you really know how to keep a hunter going! We should get out on the canoe today, after I rest a little." He laid back , hand moving in soft circles over his gut, unwilling to get up for anything. His sister just rolled her eyes, trudging over out to get the new, bigger canoe ready.
Sokka awoke to his little sister coming by, prodding him to carry the seals to the storehouse. He just waved his hand groggily, but she grabbed his arm and futilely pulled on it.
"Mr. "Big Hunter," if you want to keep all this deleicious meat, you've got to help store it, or it'll all go to waste!"
The threat of wasted meat propelled him up, hefting the big piles of food up and out the doorway.
