Megan curled up on Mike’s bed, emitting several purrs as she stretched out. It was then that Mike confirmed everything: he was now responsible for taking care of the new Megan. His sister Alexis was too immature to care for an animal, and their parents were too busy working to devote time to pets. Essentially, Mike and Megan were the only ones who could look after them. But now that Megan, Mike’s sister, no longer existed, he was left in charge of both the new Megan and Kobe.
As Megan settled into the same sleeping position as Mocha used to, Mike pondered his next steps.
