Shawn let out a very audible sigh of relief upon here the news he actually gets to stay a man for his next job. Rebecca obviously heard, "I take it you like this news?"
"You have no idea how glad I am to here you say that, it's a really nice relief that I don't have to spend an extended amount of time as a girl or a dog or something. I get to be a guy and do what I love. This is the sort of thing I pictured happening when I came out here, thanks a ton Becca. You're a saint." Shawn praised to a now silent other end of the phone line.
"Time as a girl or a dog or something?" Rebecca repeated sounding more and more agitated, "So being a girl is just as bad as being a four legged animal or some other unspeakable horror?"
"What? No! Of course not! It's just that I prefer being a guy you know."
"So being a guy is so much better than being a girl!" Rebecca said with a little bit of a shriek to her voice.
"Now, you're just being irrational." Shawn knew he shouldn't have said that the second it had left his mouth.
"Irrational am I!? Well, I was being courteous to you by offering you a job as a male stuntman, but I have other offers for other roles that I thought would be beneath or degrading to you, but I think I'll call them up and sign you up for something. Enjoy the next shoot in heels, or maybe a nice leash." With that Rebecca slammed the phone down (which was particularly effective as you don't need to do that with a smart phone like she has). Shawn immediately dialed his cousin back hoping to convince her to come to her senses and not sign him up for something that he was going to be miserable doing. Finally after calling her back for about a eighth time she picked up the phone.
"Please please tell me you didn't sign me up for me to be a a...stunt stripper or something. I'm really sorry for what I said. It was stupid and poorly worded." Shawn anxiously waited to here his cousin's response.
