"They want you to be an animal again." Rebecca said into the phone waiting for the blow up.
"I'm hanging up now." Shawn said disgustedly into the phone.
"Wait wait, no! Just listen to me. I know that at the last shoot it was bad..."
"Bad?!" Shawn said all of the sudden getting angry, "I spent a straight week as a dog. They kept me in a cage that was way too small, the production crew got the cheapest dog food they could find, and that stupid hockey rink was absurdly cold. And, oh yeah, the movie didn't even get released so I didn't even get my full pay. So no. I'm not going through that again."
"Please wait! I told the studio about our 'dogs' last experience and I made sure that those conditions won't happen again. I've already got the contract right in front of me and it's a good deal with full pay unless you're fired and all the best conditioning for you that they could afford."
Shawn's every instinct was telling him to just hang up, but he did need the job and knew Rebecca would make sure he wasn't treated as poorly as he was before. "Go on."
"Thank you for taking this job,"
"I haven't accepted it yet, I'm just considering it. Now, what's the job."
"Come on, if you take it you'll get all the bitches you can handle."
Shawn groaned, she had made the exact same joke the last time she'd gotten him a dog job. "Hardy har har, stop beating around the bush and tell me the job."
