Drake just stared at Tyler with a wide grin on his face.
"Okay, Ty! I got a surprise for you!" Drake whispered to him.
Tyler was overcome by a strange tingling sensation, which disappeared after a few seconds.
"Hey! What... What did you do to me just now?" Tyler wondered.
Drake turned around and saw the wide open grassy field behind him.
"Ty! Go ahead and run down that field over there! Then you'll see what I did to you just now!" Drake ordered.
Tyler hesitated at first, just backing off a little, not quite knowing what to expect.
"Just run that way!" Drake said. "Trust me! You'll enjoy this! Just RUN as fast as you can!"
The field was as long as a football field! Tyler realized that this would take a few minutes for sure! So, he took a deep breath and started running down the field.
Then, it happened!
Tyler transformed into a BLUR, which raced across the field in a fraction of a second, before stopping at the soccer goal post, almost a hundred yards away, reaching the goal post in a blink of an eye!
"WHOA!" Tyler gasped, realizing that he ran the distance at super speed!
Then, he turned around and started running towards Drake. Again, Tyler disappeared into a red blur, which materialized a few feet in front of Drake, standing before him without even feeling tired, winded or sweaty at all!
"WOW! That was freaking awesome!" Tyler cheered. "You made me run super-fast!"
"Enjoy having super speed, dude!" Drake said, as he started laughing. "I told you it was gonna be fun! I basically pumped up your legs and gave you super speed! That's your new super power!"
"Man! That is so cool! Can I keep this power?" Tyler asked him.
